Rajwar was conceived in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and brought up in her old neighborhood Haldwani, Uttarakhand. She is second of three kids, went to Nirmala Convent School, and later sought after her post-graduation from D.B.S Kumaun University in Nanital. She moved on from the National School of Drama in New Delhi in 1997.
