Shaista Lodhi Early Life:

Shaista Lodhi was born in Karachi on November 26, 1971, to parents Ali Gohar Lodhi and Roshan Taj Lodhi. She was raised with three brothers: Amir, Tahir, and Sahir.

Shaista Lodhi Education:

In 2000, she graduated with an MBBS degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University.

Shaista Lodhi Career:

Shaista Lodhi began her career as a VJ in 2001, later stepping in as a host on a private TV channel. She hosted “Good Morning Pakistan” on ARY Digital, before moving to GEO in 2010 to host “Utho Jago Pakistan.” The show was suspended in 2014 due to alleged blasphemy and Shaista left the country due to safety concerns.

After moving to South Africa with her children, Shaista returned to Pakistan in 2015 and resumed her hosting career with “Sitare Ki Subah” on Hum Sitaray, followed by “Mehmaan Nawaz” on SEE TV. She later rejoined Geo TV to host “Geo Subah Pakistan.”

In 2020, she captained the Peshawar Stallions team in the Jeeto Pakistan League Ramadan Special. In 2021, she announced her new morning show “Morning at Home” on PTV Home, taking over from Nadia Khan. The show made its debut on November 15, 2021.

Shaista Lodhi Personal Life:

Shaista was previously known as Shaista Wahidi after marrying Waqar Wahidi in 1999. However, they separated in 2012 and later divorced. She has three children from that marriage.

In 2015, she married Adnan Lodhi, the first Pakistani art auctioneer in South Africa. Shaista’s brother, Sahir Lodhi, is also in the TV industry.
