Nikhil Kumaraswamy, also known as Nikhil Gowda, is an Indian actor and politician recognized for his work in Kannada films. Born in 1988 to former Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, he’s also the grandson of former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda. He made his acting debut with the Kannada-Telugu bilingual film “Jaguar” in 2016, and has been part of films like “Seetharama Kalyana”, “Kurukshetra”, and “Rider”. He ran for the 2019 and 2023 elections in Karnataka but was defeated. He’s married to Revathi and they have a son.
