Nikhil Kumaraswamy, also known as Nikhil Gowda, is an Indian actor and politician recognized for his work in Kannada films. Born in 1988 to former Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, he’s also the grandson of former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda. He made his acting debut with the Kannada-Telugu bilingual film “Jaguar” in 2016, and has been part of films like “Seetharama Kalyana”, “Kurukshetra”, and “Rider”. He ran for the 2019 and 2023 elections in Karnataka but was defeated. He’s married to Revathi and they have a son.

[debut]In 2019, Nikhil ran in the Indian general political election in Karnataka (Lok Sabha) from Mandya locale as a Janata Dal (Secular) applicant. Mandya was viewed as a protected stronghold for the Congress-JDS partnership as generally Indian National Congress was the best party, trailed by Janata Dal (Secular) to challenge in the locale. He lost in the elections to Sumalatha spouse of late Ambareesh by an edge of 128,876 votes.

Personal Life / Wife:
[rel]Nikhil got engaged to Revathi, the excellent niece of Congress leader and real estate agent M. Krishnappa at Taj West End, Bengaluru. The wedding occurred on 17 April 2020 close to Janapada Loka in Ramanagara.
