In 2012, Dirisu effectively tried out for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages Program. His first stage role was as Pericles in Shakespeare’s Pericles, Prince of Tire. After the Royal Shakespeare Company, Dirisu came back to the National Youth Theater where he prepared in the REP organization program for eight months. He has consequently acted in various TV arrangement including The Mill, Utopia, Humans, The Casual Vacancy, Siblings and Undercover.
Dirisu got a Commendation at the Ian Charleson Awards for his presentation as Coriolanus in Coriolanus at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
