She claimed that he would regularly beat her and behave inappropriately on the set of her shows.

In 2013, Tiwari married actor Abhinav Kohli after dating for three years. In 2016, the couple had a son, Reyansh Kohli. However, reports of problems in their marriage surfaced in 2017.
