Juggan Kazim was born into a Kashmiri Punjabi Muslim family in Lahore, Pakistan. She has an older sister, a younger brother, and her uncle Raza Kazim is a lawyer and arts enthusiast. Juggan’s famous journalist aunt is Nasim Zehra.

Her parents split when she was just one year old. Despite conservative views held by her father, Syed Abbas Kazim, on a woman’s place, he allowed her to work as a child model. Juggan, who had aspirations to act from a young age, had to defy societal expectations to pursue her passion. Her mother, Ghazala Saigol, held more progressive views.

Her first feature film role was as “Gugan” in “Pink Ludoos” directed by Gaurav Seth and co-starring Shaheen Khan. She has also appeared in various stage productions and television shows, including “The Eleventh Hour” and her own show, “Beanbag,” which she wrote and hosted.

In December 2004, Juggun Kazim returned to Pakistan from Canada after marrying Ahmed Tajik, whom she met at a friend’s wedding. However, after enduring physical abuse for over a year, she left the marriage with their two-month-old son, Hamza.

The father is not involved in the boy’s upbringing, as they both agreed due to her own experiences growing up with divorced parents. On June 27, 2013, Juggun Kazim married Feisal H Naqvi and they have a son named Hassan and a daughter named Noor Bano, born on October 9, 2020.
