Early Life and Career:

Burcu Biricik, a Turkish actress of Yörük descent, was born on May 4, 1988 in Elmalı, Antalya Province. She rose to prominence after being chosen as “Akdeniz’s beauty” in the 2006 Miss Mediterranean competition in Antalya. After winning an award at a theater festival, she decided to pursue a career in acting.

She started her acting career by participating in the Bornova Municipal City Theater internship, where she performed in plays such as İkinin Biri, Yaşlı Hanımın Ziyareti, Gözlerimi Kaparım, Vazifemi Yaparım and Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz. In 2007, she made her TV debut with a role in the Show TV series Maçolar. Biricik has also won the Best Actress Award at the Mannheim Turkish Film Festival.
