Malik began his career in 2009 when he won the title of Mr. Delhi and walked the ramp for renowned designers like Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal. He made his television debut in 2012 with the show Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat on Colors TV, where he played the role of Rishi Shekhawat.
In 2013, he appeared in the shows Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat on Sony TV and Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed on Zee TV, playing the roles of Rahul and Rohan Dubey, respectively. The following year, Malik participated in MTV India’s dating reality show Splitsvilla 7 and played the role of Harshad Saxena in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.
